The AIconomics Insitute is a division of IIFI focused on the economic and strategic business value of Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, and related technologies.
It is led by Joe Weinman, renowned digital strategist and author of Cloudonomics: The Business Value of Cloud Computing and Digital Disciplines: Attaining Market Leadership via the Cloud, Big Data, Social, Mobile, and the Internet of Things.
Current research underway at the Institute is exploring:
- What is and will be the impact of AI and robotics on business results?
- Why are some firms achieving results but not others?
- What will the long-term impact of job displacement from AI be?
- Will today's macroeconomic systems evolve to offer "universal abundance" or "widespread income and wealth inequality?"
